Down day to give the arms a break, clean the gear and catch up on life. I left my boat at a random house who had a spotless front yard and a great golden retriever and walked to town to grab a shower. I was incredibly thankful they agreed to watch my boat. Solid people, solid Minnesotans, solid Americans!
Back on the water tomorrow!
You must have passed my property, 10 river miles north of Aitkin. Apparently my brother and sister met you at the hotel and watched the Mn Wild Hockey game on tv. Good luck on the trip! I love that river! and am a veteran.
It’s amazing how small this town is. Everyone knows everyone! I see why people live here! It is truly amazing!
